Although I’m a fan of new wave music, I have always liked Floyd, Gilmour is a guitar genius.
I’m hoping his new album is a grower, not convinced so far.
But, the song with his daughter Romany, is superb. I don’t think I have heard a more beautiful voice ever. Check it out.

That is a great song, always liked Mr Gilmore, great guitarist.....and his daughter has a great voice.
I really like a guitarist called Chris DeGarmo, who played guitar on his daughters music, the band is called the The Rue, the song Black Dog is worth a listen.

The album IS a grower though maybe not as great as claimed. The lead single is a cover which was surprising. Bet the writers are happy.

I remember him in Queensrÿche, they were awful!
Not got the latest David Gilmour album as yet but I’ve liked what I’ve heard. Been a fan since I was a kid, one of many influences on my guitar playing, no doubt I’ll pick up his album when the mood takes me.
Been watching a lot of youtube and recently discovered the Rick Beato channel. He’s managed to get Gilmour on it and just put up the interview -

I like the Operation Mindcrime Album by Queensryche.
I've watched a few of the Rick Beato videos, he's a good guitarist.
That interview is really good, you don't normally see Gilmour so relaxed when answering questions.

Aye, tbh you don’t actually see Gilmour do that many interviews at all, and especially for that length of time.
He seems far more relaxed in his old age and is clearly enjoying himself on stage. I laughed at this clip on YouTube where his guitar strap came loose (the strap once owned by Jimi Hendrix, a seriously cool prezzie from Gilmours wife) he does a little dance after his Guitar tech had sorted it.

That's brilliant, how cool is that, to keep singing and playing the solo on such an iconic song as well.
That is a rather unique present, it could have been worse, it could have been one of Jimi Hendrix shirts

Just saw their performance on Jools tv show. Beautiful vocals by Romany and dad still has the same sound and feel as a hundred years ago in Pompeii. Marvellous.

The song "Scattered" on David Gilmour's new album is off the charts! Great lyrics and a guitar solo at the end to die for
